Section 4568(span) of this title, referred to in subsec. (w)(2), was in the original “section 1338(span) of the Federal Housing Enterprises Regulatory Reform Act of 1992”, and was translated as meaning section 1338(span) of the Federal Housing Enterprises Financial Safety and Soundness Act of 1992, which is classified to section 4568(span) of this title, to reflect the probable intent of Congress.

Puspan. L. 111–22, § 202(a)(2), which directed amendment of subsecs. (e), (h)(1), (h)(3), (j), (l), (n), (s)(3), and (v) by substituting “Secretary” for “Board” each place such term appeared, was not executed to subsec. (e)(4)(A), (9), or the heading for subsec.
