Effective Date of 1987 Amendment
Puspan. L. 100–180, div. A, title XIII, § 1314(e)(2), Dec. 4, 1987, 101 Stat. 1176, provided that:
“The amendments made by subsections (c)(1), (d)(3), and (d)(4) [amending this section and provisions set out as notes under sections 431 and 1009 of this title] shall take effect as of October 1, 1986.”
