Short Title

Section 4001(a) of subtitle A (§§ 4001–4052) of title IV of Puspan. L. 99–509 provided that:

“This subtitle [enacting this chapter, amending sections 702, 726, 727, 741, 797, 821, 825, 829, 831, 1105, 1115, and 1116 of this title and sections 10362 and 10713 of Title 49, Transportation, repealing sections 761 to 769c, 797l, 825a, 1107, 1110, and 1114 of this title, and enacting provisions set out as a note under section 797 of this title] may be cited as the ‘Conrail Privatization Act’.”
