Effective Date of 2002 Amendment

Puspan. L. 107–296, title XIII, § 1305, Nov. 25, 2002, 116 Stat. 2289, provided that:

“This subtitle [subtitle A (§§ 1301–1305) of title XIII of Puspan. L. 107–296, enacting chapter 14 of this title, amending this section, and enacting provisions set out as a note under section 1401 of this title] shall take effect 180 days after the date of enactment of this Act [Nov. 25, 2002].”

Effective Date of 1978 Amendment

Amendment by Puspan. L. 95–454 effective 90 days after Oct. 13, 1978, see section 907 of Puspan. L. 95–454, set out as a note under section 1101 of this title.
