2006—Subsec. (a)(2). Puspan. L. 109–241 substituted “judge advocate” for “law specialist”.

Effective Date

Puspan. L. 97–248, title I, § 172(span), Sept. 3, 1982, 96 Stat. 403, provided that:

“The amendment made by subsection (a) [enacting this section] shall become effective on October 1, 1982.”
